Healing Room Rental Agreement
Policies and Procedures
** If you are charging people for your class, workshop, or service and you are using The Healing Room, we expect you to rent it out at the appropriate rate according to the time you would like to use the room.
** If you are providing a FREE class, workshop, or service we will happily allow you to use The Healing Room for free
First Step:
A personal interview and building tour are required
Required Documents (presented either in written or verbal form):
Evidence of professional qualifications
Description of services to be offered
References if requested
** If you are providing a service on a person (ie: massage, reiki, acupuncture, etc) you must carry your own professional liability insurance naming The Prism and Pendulum as an additional insured
Expectations:
No illegal activities
No drugs (including Cannabis)
Return the space as you found it/Leave the space in a clean, orderly condition
Report any untidiness left by a previous user so the issue can be addressed
Good Character and Integrity Clause:
The Prism and Pendulum is a place of integrity, positivity, love, and light. We expect that anyone associated with our business in any way also conducts themselves with these same values.
This includes how you speak about us outside in the community.
Therefore we include this Defamation Clause: We reserve the right to take legal action if we find that anyone renting our space has knowingly defamed The Prism and Pendulum, or any of its entities and employees.
Defamation is defined (by the State of California) to be the act of making a false statement about someone that harms their reputation, property, business, or occupation. Defamation can be written or oral, and is categorized as libel or slander.
If you believe that we have treated you unfairly or unjustly during the rental process, we expect that you conduct yourself with integrity, positivity, love, and light. We expect you to be able to have an adult, civil conversation with us and allow us to rectify the situation without the resort of slander and libel.
Closing Procedures:
Place your trash in the cans in rear of space (grey is trash and blue is recycling)
If you move furniture around for your use, please restore it to its original arrangement
Remove used linens from furniture and place in laundry hamper
Blow out any candles
Turn off the Bluetooth speaker
Let person working the shop know that everyone has vacated the room prior to your leaving
Rental Payments:
1/2 of total rental fee is due upon reservation
Remainder of total rental fee is due PRIOR to use of space
We accept the following forms of payment: Zelle, Venmo, PayPal, Cash, Credit Card, Check, or payment via our website

There are no refunds on rental payments
** The Prism and Pendulum reserves the right to terminate any rental agreement without a refund if the rental policies are not followed**
